TADASAN

                          TADASAN ...                             

INTRODUCTION:
  • 'TADA' means palm tree in sanskrit language.
  • This asanas pose s very similar to palm tree thats why it called as 'TADASANA'
  • This pose is very similar to SAMASTHITI.
  • Tadasan also known as Mountain Pose and Urdhva Hastasana. 
  • It is most easy yoga pose, which can be practiced by anyone without any problem.
  • It also practiced at any time of the day.
  • It ia not mandatory that this asana must be done on empty stomach, but is ia best to have your meal at least 4 to 6 hours before doing this asana.
DURATION:  10 to 20 seconds and repet for 10 times or do as you possible

PROCEDURE:
  • Stand erect with feet together on the floor.
  • make your thigh muscles firm.  
  • Rest the heads of metatarsal on the floor and stretch all the toes flat on the floor.
  • Tighten the knees contract the hips and pull up the musceles at the back of the thighs.
  • Keep the stomach in, chest forward, spine erect and neck straight.
  • extend your arms upwards so that they are perpandicular to the floor and parallel to each other, making sure palms are facing each other.
  • Interlock your finger, and stretch your arms upwards
  • Do not bear the weight of the body either on the heels or toes, but distribute it evenly on both the toes.

VAJRASAN

                          ASANA...                    

DEFINATION: Patanjali defined in 'Yoga Sutra' as- "to be seated in a position that is firm, but relaxed".
Patanjali mentions the ability to sit for extended period as one od the eight limbs of his system, known as Asthtang Yoga.

Asana are also performed as Physical exercise where they are sometimes referred to as "Yoga Postures" or Yoga Position{.

There are number of positions of yoga such as Suryanamaskar, Tadasana, Uttanasana, Dhanurasana, Sirsasana, Sarvangasana, Paschimottanasana, Halasana, Ardha Halasana, Bhujangasana, Pavanmuktasana, Uttan padasana, Vajrasana, matsyendrasana, Balasana, Shavasana, Virbhadrasana, Garudasana, and many more...

HERE WE ARE STUDING ABOUT VAJRASANA:
VAJRASANA(DIAMOND POSE/ THUNDERBOLT POSE):

Vajrasana is the simplest of all the asanas of Yoga, which can be practiced after lunch or dinner as well this is one of few exceptional asana as we supposed to do asana on an empty stomach. Vajrasana is also known as 'Diamond pose' which is best for practicing breathing exercises & meditation.
DURATION:  5 to 10 minutes.
HOW TO DO:
Vajra pose is a sitting asana in yoga. It is a kneeling position sitting on the heels. 
  • fold both the legs, keeping your hips on the heels. Toes pointing out behind you & big toes touching each other.
  • Sit on the pit formed by the parted heels.
  • Keep the head, neck & spine in a straight line. Palms facing up, placed on your thighs.
  • Hold the pose & take long breaths.
  • Breathe out relax. Straighten your legs.
BENIFITS:
  • This asana enhance blood circulation in the lower abdomen & decrease circulation in the legs  so it improve digestion process. that's why this asana suggest to do after lunch or dinner.
  • it makes ankle joint flexible & prevents certain rheumatic disease
  • In Vajrasana, the spine is erect without much effort. 
  • It strengthens the pelvic muscles, back.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
  •  Person suffering from joint pain should avoid this asana.  
  • Slip disc condition
  • Difficult in movement during asana should avoid.
  • Pregent women should keep their knees slightly apart when they avoid putting pressure on their abdomen or avoid to do if not comfortable.

Jamun and its benefits
Names: syzygium cumini, comnly kla jambolan, java plum, black plum and jamun

Medicinal parts: fruits, seeds, stem bark, and leaves
Chemical composition: jambosine, glucoside, glucoside jambalin
Pharmacological properties:                             
*This fruit is light to digest and decrease the moist content of tissues.
*It has cold potency and acts as a body coolant.
Action on dosha: 
Normalise pitta and katha
Increases vatta dosha

USED IN
Diabetes: it is used in diabetes mellitus type 2
The seeds of black jamin fruits are known for their anti diabetic properties.
They effectively reduce blood sugar level and help to control diabetes naturally.
Weight gain: bark, fruit pulp, seeds and leaves all help to reduce body weight by boosting body metabolism and reduce frequency of hunger panges.
Female infertility: PCOD AND PCOD is the major cause for female infertility.
The seeds of jamun fruits help to reduce weight and also increase the sensitivity of cells to insulin.
Male infertility: when men suffers from diabetes and obesity,their sexual functinf and sexual energy nose dives. Men also suffer from erectile dysfunction due to diabetes are highly benefited by the use of seeds , bark and leaves of this plant.
Anti-helmenthic:this is recommended to eliminate intestinal parasites.
